The
quarterly- research journal of National Studies
This journal started its publishing in the autumn of 1997 and succeeded
to attain the scientific and research degree from the ministry of
science, research and technology in 2005. The journal is published
mainly on topics such as national unity, social cohesion, national
identity, cultural interaction, Iranian civilization, diversity and
difference, dialogue, globalization, historians and identity, nomads and
identity and intellectuals and identity and other topics related to the

Major aims of the journal
-
Scientific and objective study of political, social and cultural
realities of Iranian society and discussing about the nature, causes
and different reasons of forming different kinds of relationships.

Understanding of sociological, psychological, legal, political and
cultural aspect of the diversity of Iranian society and its results
and consequences.

Research
on the structural, political and geopolitical transformations of the
world and the region and their impacts on the identification process
and self-realization of national polity and sub-national societies.

Theoretical study of different approaches, schools and attitudes
about ethnic politics and patterns of ethnic relationships, culture
and national identity, national solidarity and integration and
realizing their weakness and strength

Providing
dialogue and exchange of views among different professionals and
intellectuals interested in identity, national identity, ethnic
identities etc.
